The Attitude That Sells
Matt Lopez
So you’ve got an awesome product and everybody is going to love it, but you don’t know where to begin when it comes to sales. Approaching sales can be scary, but at Skaled we work with our clients to make the process as stress-free as possible.
The key to making the sale is all in the attitude. Here are 4 tips to help close the deal:
1) When you honestly believe in your product and you communicate this confidence to your prospects, you are bound to succeed. Potential clients will easily pick up on any uncertainty, so it is essential that there is no hint of doubt about your product.
2) Don’t be apologetic. If your product is truly amazing and generates mutual benefit, you have no reason to apologize for emailing them.
3) Be honest about what stage of development you are in, but reassure with some optimism. For example, “we’re in the beginning stages of development, but we have already secured funding and partnerships with ___, ___, and ___.”
4) Lastly, try new things! Don’t be afraid to change up your approach. You never know, just changing a subject line may get you more responses.
