It’s a hard pill to swallow, but it’s true.
People who are satisfied with their jobs made it that way. Jake’s advice is to focus on the day-to-day of your position and see what you can change for it to be more enjoyable.
As you go into each week, remind yourself to form these three habits:
- You are in control of your own life and what you say “yes” to.
- Look back at last week and reflect on the meetings you had.
- Go have one difficult conversation you have been putting off.
You have the power to choose how your day goes. Start taking a proactive approach in your job and see how much it changes your role.

This week we took a break from the TikTok drama to share a bit of good news!
Last week, LinkedIn’s 4th Annual Top Startups List was released. We saw some familiar names on it, including Outreach at #6!
We want to say congratulations to every startup that’s survived this year! We were all hit with a curveball when the pandemic started, and everyone has struggled at some point. So proud of Outreach and everyone else who made the list!
