All of us are used to customizing our own internal world. We focus so hard on what we are doing, that we forget to watch how our customers are changing. As we grow and change, so do our customers, and oftentimes we miss that. Their needs are adapting too and the way we sell needs to adapt to them! It’s important to notice where buyers are going, then make changes in the day-to-day in order to meet those needs.
Watch this week’s The Recap with CEO Jake Dunlap:

International Go-To-Market | Jake & Friends with Alfie Marsh
Jake was able to sit down with Alfie Marsh, Head of Sales at Spendesk in London earlier this week. A ton of SaaS companies started over in the UK and have developed a US presence or vice versa. The product is the same, and the customer or ICP is the same, but the cultural norms and challenges are all on their own. Alfie and Jake were able to chat about pivoting his sales team to take on these challenges. It’s available on YouTube so be sure to give it a watch.
This week on Ask Jake Anything, Jake answers questions such as, “How do you make the right impression when your service is no different than your competition with nearly the same price point?”
Jake states it bluntly- it’s important to have at least a few things you do competitively that are relevant to your buyers. Otherwise, it’s time to find a new job. It’s all about relationships. Check out Jake’s hot take in the Recap.
Despite this pandemic, Skaled is working hard to deliver relevant content. Hopefully, everyone is staying healthy and safe. Follow Jake on social media for updates and stay tuned for next week’s Recap with CEO Jake Dunlap.
