At that point, leadership needed to figure out how to systematize ChatGPT for sales and utilize it outside of just basic research and messaging to unlock its full potential.

In this course, I start with generative AI prompts for pipeline generation – a topic that is always on the mind of every salesperson and leader.
When it comes to preparation and research for top of the funnel, ChatGPT can provide new reps (or reps going after new types of buyers) with company and industry knowledge to get up to speed quickly. They can then use that research to draft customized outreach for specific personas and verticals.

It can help with solution alignment by analyzing customer objections and providing tailored solutions, as well as reframe product capabilities to address concerns.
Keeping momentum in a deal with follow-up and re-engagement is important so deals don’t stall. This is one of my favorite use cases for generative AI for sales that most teams haven’t even tried.

Some of the best examples of this are using ChatGPT to digest account history and relationships to prep for meetings and create customer profiles summarizing key details for new customers.
To foster relationships continuously, you can use ChatGPT to suggest timely touchpoints to nurture customers, draft relevant content recommendations customers may appreciate, and build custom account growth strategies.
