Skaled Moves Headquarters From New York City To Austin

AUSTIN (March 19, 2019) Skaled, a sales-consulting company that builds sales strategies for mid-market and enterprise companies, today announced its new office in Austin, which also represents its headquarters’ relocation from New York City. Additionally, the 1,450 square-foot downtown space will house the company’s dozen employees, all of whom have been hired in the past nine months, including the three newest ones: Kathy Cashen who joined as Senior Sales Operations Consultant, Todd Darroca as Director of Creative Services, and Marisa Hernandez as Manager of Events and Public Relations.

“Since launching Skaled six years ago, our rapid growth has enabled us to expand our footprint exponentially — both in talent and geographically,” said Jake Dunlap, CEO and founder of Skaled, who moved last year from New York City to Austin. “Austin has become one of the country’s fastest-growing tech hubs in both creativity and innovation, so it was a logical choice for relocating our headquarters there to attract the industry’s best with Kathy, Todd, and Marisa.”

Formerly of IBM, Kathy spearheads Skaled’s sales-technology deployment and implementation, responsible for maximizing their effective use. Todd, who joins from global IT marketplace Spiceworks, directs creative services to strengthen clients’ sales teams through demand generation and content strategies. Hailing from GoDaddy, Marisa creates and manages project plans for various marketing and event activities, as well as positioning Jake as an industry thought leader.

Located at 823 Congress, an iconic office tower located on Congress Avenue at Ninth Street in downtown Austin, Skaled’s larger office enables the company to double its Austin team, while in pursuit of doubling the entire team nationwide. Taking over the lease from a law firm, the company will join other technology leaders, including Coremetrics, Skills Fund, Meltwater, and Aquent.
