Jake lays it out this week on normalcy. There is no return to normal – it’s all about the future. There needs to be a new way of doing things.
Outbound needs to change. It can’t just be activity-based anymore – we have to stop with strictly calls and emails. Utilize LinkedIn! Modern outbound is going to be a mix of these things. Now the time to be looking at how often you’re changing things up. There is no “one size fits all” method to sales, you’re going to have to constantly adapt.

As a leader, your job isn’t to tell people what to do. Instead, you should be providing your employees with guard rails, endpoint goals, accountability milestones, and then watch them succeed.
Oftentimes, we push people to do the things we want them to do. However, this is not an effective method to get tasks completed. When you push people, they push back. Next time, try removing obstacles your employees might be facing and give them guidance on how to reach their goals.

How did you view normal before this virus hit? How do you view it now? The reality of our world is things will constantly be changing. Now that we’ve lived through a global pandemic our world is going to become a completely different place. Use this time to examine how you’ve perceived normalcy throughout your life, and how you’re going to learn to adapt.
